 Bullard ISD offers tuition Pre-K, and free tuition for qualifying families.

Qualifying Pre-K Programs

•  Families can qualify for Income-Based Pre-K, which is available for free for families who:
  • qualify for the National School Lunch Program,
  • children who are currently or have ever been in the state DFPS system
  • children of an active duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces (or members who were killed or injured while on active duty)
  • children whose families are experiencing homelessness,
  • and children who meet the criteria to receive bilingual services. 

*Our staff can help guide families through the qualification process.  

Tuition-Based Program - Families who do not qualify for Income-Based Pre-K Programs. 

• Tuition rates are $500 per month for 9 months. Payment is required to secure your child's spot. Pre-K is a full-day program led by degreed and highly trained teachers who will set your child on a successful path to a quality education. 

Requirements for Registration: 

• Pre-K students must live in the Bullard ISD School District Zone. Bullard ISD does not accept paid transfers at the Pre-K level.
• Must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026
• For Early Childhood Special Education, must be 3 years old AND qualify through a special education evaluation through Bullard ISD. 

Required Documentation (parent must bring these items to in-person registration):

• Your current driver's license with your current address
• Your child's certified birth certificate
• Your child's Social Security card
• Proof of residency-- electric or water bill with your current name and address
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Proof of income for PK registration only-- last 2 months of pay stubs for all working adults in the household
• ESG card # (food stamps confirmation number)

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT for students living in the Bullard ISD school district is completed online using the process below. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026.

Families who do not live in the Bullard ISD School District Zone can apply to be a paid district transfer. Acceptance is based on availability and is not granted until July before the school year begins. Please call 903-894-6639 to request a copy of the application and for more information. 

Online Enrollment Instructions

New to Bullard ISD?

If none of your students are enrolled in Bullard ISD,  create a Family Access account in Skyward. You will need to select the "Next School Year" option to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year.

Already a Bullard ISD Family?

If you are an existing family who needs to add a new student, or you've just created your account, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Skyward login screen here 
2. Switch the dropdown box at the bottom of the screen from "All Areas" to "New to District Registration." 
3. Sign in. The new student application should launch automatically. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Guardian Info- Bullard ISD uses the ParentSquare communications platform for all school-to-home communications and emergency alerts. Only individuals listed as Guardians in Skyward will receive ParentSquare access. Therefore, please be sure the guardian information is complete with a correct email and phone number for each guardian. You can find more information on ParentSquare here.  

Documents Needed for Enrollment

The following documents are required for enrollment. Please scan and submit these documents with your online enrollment application. If you do not have access to scan your documents, you must take the documents to the campus secretary as part of the enrollment process.

1. Parent/Legal Guardian Picture ID
2. Proof of Residency 
3. Withdrawal from Other School or Year-End Report Card
4. Immunization Records
5. Birth Certificate
6. Social Security Card

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation page when the applications are successfully submitted. A parent can select "Continue to Enroll Additional Students" to begin the application for another student. Repeated information will be pre-populated for each additional student. 

The campus secretary will then be in touch to verify additional information or to give further instructions.
