Principal's Corner

Amanda Goode, Principal

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael, for 26 years. We have three children: Cody, 23, who is married to our daughter-in-law, Dawn; Mikaela, 20; and Carley, 19... all graduates of Bullard High School.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree from UT Tyler and a Master's Degree from Lamar University. I have been an educator for 17 years, most of those here in Bullard ISD. I have been a PK classroom teacher and have taught middle school Math, Texas History, English Language Arts and Reading, and high school Algebra I. I also have experience as an Assistant Principal for Bullard Elementary and Bullard Intermediate schools.

In addition to my campus experience, I have worked as a Public Relations Liaison, a Curriculum Integration Specialist for all campuses, and Assistant Curriculum Director all for Bullard ISD. My passion is education, but most importantly my passion is students. I believe you must first capture their hearts before you can capture their minds.

My goal is to make Bullard Early Childhood a happy, positive, and safe learning environment where students can experience success.
